Anterrieux

Musée de la Résistance d'Anterrieux

The Association Museum of Anterrieux took on the task of transmitting the memory of fighting between Maquis and occupation troops in June 1944.

Several villages and hamlets in the Truyere gorges were burned and bombed, bringing death and destruction. The oral memories extend into the département of Cantal, and were published by the association, which also shows visitors the museum with its various objects reminiscent of the period, unique in the département.
