Musée d'Huez et de l'Oisans

The Alps d’Huez and l’Oisans Museum looks back at the lives of the miners that worked the silver mines and started a permanent village at 1800 meters between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries.

Part of the exhibit is about feats of war and the Resistance in the summer of 1944, including the episode in which the maquis withdrew the hospital de l’Oisans.
