Murat
Mémorial des Déportés de Murat
The memorial preserves the memory of the 300 inhabitants of Murat that were arrested by the German army in June 1944. Some one hundred of them were deported to Neuengamme, a concentration camp in northern Germany.
Through a son et lumière, visitors can relive in images the Resistance, deportation, survival in concentration camps through the epic of Murat.
