Le Cheylard

Votive statue in le Cheylard of Our Lady of Aric, at the top of a chapel. It was sculpted by M Belloni, the sculptor of the Basilica at Fournière, in Lyon, and put up to fulfill a vow: "if Le Cheylard is saved from the dangers that threaten, put up a monument to Our Lady, and every Friday until 1950 a day of prayer". It was inaugurated on July 4, 1944.
