Mémorial du Pas de l'Aiguille
The Pas-de-l’Aiguille Memorial, in memory of the Maquisard resistance fighters who were trapped in a cave on July 22, 1944, under German fire. They held out for more than thirty hours. In the middle of the night, they attempted to escape and got away by running down the hill. Eight were killed, three, who were badly wounded, chose to put an end to it inside the cave.
