Stone marker in memory of Claudius Tury and Georges Husson, both resistants.

Claudius Tury, a native of Saint-Gérand-de-Vaux, was the crew chief at airbase 277, as a member of the resistance group "MUR (United Resistance Movements - Auvergne". He was betrayed and arrested on January 28, 1944, and deported to Auschwitz, then Buchenwald, then Flossembourg to the Fläho commando in Tchecoslovakia. He died of exhaustion on May 1, 1945.
