Stone marker at the pass at Néronne, as a reminder that the Resistance Groups linked to the Barrage de l'Aigle (Eagle Dam) prepared the bases of their maquis here. In the spring of 1944, volunteers from the Didier batallion (Organization of Resistance in the Army) from the Aymé group (NNPGD) took over the shepherds huts in Néronne and Puy Violent. This building housed the HQ. They participated in the liberation of Cantal, Côte d'Or, Saône-et-Loire and some got all the way to Berlin and participated in the Victory parade.
