Plaque commémorative
Plaque in memory of Henri Mazuir. In charge of printing propaganda and distributing the newspaper Franc-Tireur for the region, under the orders of Pierre Gacon, he transported newspapers and tracts, and sometimes explosives. On October 28, 1943, he was arrested at the Percet printshop. He was tortured, imprisoned at Montluc prison, tried and sentenced to death on December 14, 1943, by the German military tribunal based at Montluc; he was executed by firing squad at the shooting range in the military camp at La Doua in Villeurbanne.
