Plaque commémorative

Plaque in homage to Louis Seurre. An activist in the Workers' and Farmers' Socialist Party and a member of the Republic Veterans' Association, he worked for the resistance through the Insurgé movement, and was in charge of the Croix-Rousse district and Caluire. The head of maquis Camp Didier, he was arrested and executed by a German firing squad in Mionnay on August 27, 1944.
