Plaque commémorative
Plaque in homage to Joseph Longarini. When war was declared, he worked at Fives-Lille as a molder. As an agent of the FTPF (Franc-Tireurs et Partisans - one of several resistance organizations), Emile Juvanon recruited him to work in and around Lyon with the free group 5th Bureau of the Secret Army. He was at the place Puvis-de-Chavannes in Lyon on the morning of June 9, 1944, and was pursued by milice agents and murdered at 45 rue Duquesne, at the corner of the rue Duguesclin.
