Stone marker in homage to the creation of a maquis at Guerry, the "Desthieux camp", named after a Lyonnais resistant shot by the Germans in May 1943. Roger Chavanet, called Guérin, was the one that chose the location in September 1943. Overcoming difficult conditions, in particular concerning arms, the maquis carried out a number of operations, sabotages and skirmishes, until the Liberation.
