Imposing tryptic tombstone in memory of the Bernard and Jarrand families.

The left panel bears this inscription: "Lucien Jarrand, shot by the Germans on August 11, 1944, at the age of 27." On the right panel: "Jules Jarrand, shot by the Germans on August 11, 1944, at the age of 23."

Lucien Jarrand was married to Jeanne Jarrand, aka Jeanette, who provided supplies for the C3 maquis camp on the Gève plateau. Lucien was a bus-driver and transported resistants. Jules Jarrand was Lucien's brother.
