Villargondran

Musée Rosine Perrier

The Rosine Perrier Museum is located in Villargondran, a small village in the Maurienne valley. It is housed in the town hall, which takes care of administrative matters.

The museum is named after its founder, a professor of French, poetess, writer, painter, historian of the Resistance and has an exhibit on the Resistance, Deportation and the maquis in the Maurienne from 1940 to 1945. For the 60th anniversary of the Liberation, an audiovisual room was added to the visit. It offers recording of first-hand accounts, and projects the film The Resistance in the Maurienne and displays a photo montage.
