Stone marker inscribed as follows: "The veterans of Pons company and Buckmaster sector to their comrades who died July 21, 1944, defending Vercors." "BERGERON Jean, DEFOLIE Jean, DOUCET Maurice, HUMBERT François, JOSEPH Léon, PACON Marcel, POULET Henri, PUGET Jean, REHS Claude, THUILE André, TOURNIGAND André and one unknown soldier".

It commemorates the second attack by resistants during the day of July 21, 1944, between Saillans and Espenel, defending against the German operation Bettina, intended to take over the Vercors massif.
