Plaque commémorative

Plaque in memory of the deported Jewish pupils and students at the Lycée Martinière. According to the Centre de Documentation sur la Déportation des Enfants Juifs (CCDEJ) (Center for Documentation on the Deportation of Jewish Children) in Lyon, 288 children were deported from Lyon and the neighboring region in 1943 and 1944. Some of them attended this school, this middle school, this high school. This plaque is a tribute to them.
