Plaque in memory of Antoine Fontlupt. A bakery worker, an activist in the Communist Youth and then an agent of the FTPF (Franc-Tireurs et Partisans - one of several resistance organizations), he organized the Vendémiaire camp, the first maquis base in the Azergues valley, near Lyon. After several months of activity there, he returned to Lyon. In September 1943, he became head of the special group FTP Company Three - City, called the Cordeliers group.
