Stèle commémorative

Stone marker in honor of Dr Louis Mallet, his son and two unidentified FFI (French Interior Forces) fighters killed on June 23, 1944.

Designed and created by Justin Delprat, a stonecutter at Chaudes-Aigues, the marker was inaugurated on June 24, 1945, before officials from départemental resistance movements and the Chaudes-Aigues Town Council.
