Plaque inaugurated in 1979 on the initiative of the Committee for the historical knowledge and commemoration of the rescue operations in the Chambon sur Lignon area under the Occupation. It recalls the role played by the Protestant community as well as others in taking in and rescuing Jewish refugees in le Chambon during the war.
